Motor coach, FAM & FIT Tour Groups

We can accommodate groups and motor coach tours for either guided or self-guided tours.  Metepenagiag Heritage Park offers:

  • Special discount rate available for regular guided or self-guided tour or Experience Package tour
  • Reservations are required for Experience Package tour, please call 1.888.380.3555
  • Itinerary of Regular or Experience package tour available
  • Flexible hours, open 7 day a week. May to October, 10 A.M. – 5 P.M.
    • Special Note: Experience package must be within the hours of 10 am – 2pm.  The experience package is a 3 hour package
  • Ample parking for Motor coach bus

School Group Tours

  • Rates are $3/student, $8/adult (plus Tax %13)
  • Hours of operation, 10 am – 5 pm daily, May to October

School group will consist of a guided tour of the Exhibit hall, followed by watching the 20 minute movie presentation in theater, then guided tour on trails to river, (weather permitted).  The tour ends with a Micmac language exercise. Plan on bringing your packed lunches.  We have plenty of room for you to sit.

Reservations are required for all tours and groups. You should plan 2.5 to 3 hours for your visit and will no doubt find that you will want to visit again!

The facility has ample parking and is wheelchair accessible.

Metepenagiag Heritage Park is a state of the art facility offering you a truly authentic aboriginal experience. We are able to accommodate tours and groups for self-guided tours or for a more in depth experience book with one of our nationally certified Heritage Interpreters.

As descendants of this ancient village, let us tell you our story as handed down to us by our ancestors about the life of the Mi’kmaq at Metepenagiag for over three thousand years.
